Job Description
My client is a leading Logistics and Trading company which has business around the globe. They are actively looking for a Senior Research Analyst to join their expanding team:
Duties:
- Engage publications about the intersection between Retail, Technology, and Fashion.
- Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods
- Perform valid and reliable SWOT analysis interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing/business models, sales and methods of operation
- Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure that data on the releases are accurate and the angle of the release is correct
- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices
- Design and compile research reports, publications, presentations, quarterly and year-end reporting initiatives to provide findings, insights and support in providing recommendations to senior management and for various business units
- Complete extensive assignments for written projects and research publications individually, or as part of a global team of contributors
- Proofread, edit and provide guidance to work performed by the Research Associates
- Generate ideas for new research projects and publications
Requirements:
- Master degree in Business, Mathematics, Finance or other quantitative disciplines, MBA or CFA will be an advantage
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in business research, background with equity research and knowledge of the Consumer, Retail and Retail Technology industries would be a definite asset but is not necessary
- Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills Demonstrated strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong a thesis and support it with appropriate arguments
- Relentless about publishing accurate data and verified facts
- Ability to thrive in a team environment as well as work independently
- Professional written English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
