Job Description
Our client, a Japanese Securities firm based in Hong Kong, is currently looking for an experienced candidate to join their elite team as Deputy General Manager-
Responsibilities:
- Mainly the arrangements of settlement of Japanese stock and Hong Kong stock trading for both client and broker side
- Control/ monitoring work of the client's money and securities kept in the custodian bank under their management, including response to request sand inquiries from clients and brokers
- Account opening / closing process and compliance matters mainly related to the client accounts, including margin trades and margin balances
- Internal and external reports and correspondences
- Other related matters
Requirements
- Basic knowledge and ability to perform settlement of securities transactions, especially Japanese stock trades
- Basic knowledge and ability to administrate client's assets and related matters such as corporate actions, dividend payment etc
- Problem solving skill as well as negotiation skill to carry out internal and external reports and correspondences
- Excellent in English and Cantonese; able to speak Japanese would be considered as significant advantage
- PC skills and IT knowledge
