Japanese Speaking Associate of Investor Relations % Marketing
Responsibilities
- Work within the IR & Marketing department of the Hedge Fund group to take on marketing support and IR responsibilities
- Maintain relationship with existing and potential investors
- Create and maintain marketing materials (e.g. pitchbooks, monthly letters, due diligence questionnaire, fund updates) while closely working with portfolio managers, including translation of materials from Japanese to English and vice versa
- Distribute to investors marketing materials and ongoing communications
- Respond to investor requests and queries on a variety of topics ranging from reporting, performance, strategy, etc.
- Maintain customer relationship management system that houses all investor contact information, meeting history and other pertinent information
- Assist portfolio managers in investor meetings and conference calls
- Arrange investor meetings, conference calls and roadshows while closely working with prime brokers
- Conduct manager performance and other benchmarking
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative duties
Experience and skills
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), preferably in Business, Finance or Accounting
- 5+ years of work experience, preferably in finance industry
- Fluent in English and proficient in Japanese
- Confident familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Solid experience with Power Point and Excel
- Detail oriented self-starter with the ability to manage own work without being told
- High degree of integrity and the ability to recognize the requirements of confidentiality
