Job Description
This Europe-based company is leading the market in providing corporations with travel management services. In 2014, their global profit amounted to well over USD$20 billion. The travel boom in general has seen the company growing in Greater China. They are seeking a Finance Director to drive the growth in this area:
Responsibilities:
•Oversees and improves the Financial Planning, Operations, Accounting and financial reporting requirements for the Company in accordance with China & Hong Kong GAAP and company policies.
•Ensures proper financial control environment and custodian of the assets of the Company.
•Manages financing and industry requirements as well as balancing the risks exposure for the Company.
•Mergers and Acquisitions- Integrating local finance, accounting and reporting processes and practices in accordance with Parent company policies and procedures
•Streamlining the administrative processes through policies and procedures.
•Leading Finance and Accounting teams in China and Hong Kong
Requirements:
•Degree in Accountancy or other professional Accountancy qualifications
•10 - 15 years of relevant working experience
•Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and China / Hong Kong GAAP
•Experience in regular budgeting and forecasting with variance analysis.
•Able to work under stress and meet deadlines
•Change Management and Integration experience during Mergers and Acquisitions
•Work experience with a Joint Ventures is desired but not a must
•Language Requirements: Proficient in English, Mandarin and Cantonese language (Read, Write and Speak)
•Travelling required within Greater China
•Travel industry knowledge is preferred but not must
Package
•US$100K to 140K including benefits
•Based in China
