Job Description
Our client, a Japanese famous manufacturer of curtain walls, building and housing sashes, building and housing materials is now looking for suitable candidates as the following:
Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings and sketches to facilitate the smooth running of projects and formal submission
- Perform and check the material take-off for material ordering
- Attend meetings with contractors, architects, Building Department officers and other consultants
- Coordinate with site employees, fabricators and installers to facilitate the process of fabrication and installation work
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors relating to design aspects
- Review project specifications to ensure all design related work compiling with project requirements
- Advise Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on preliminary design and the section profile for their estimation
- Assist Estimators and Quantity Surveyors for taking off materials in accordance with architectural drawings and technical specification
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree / Higher diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or Building Studies or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years solid experience in façade curtain wall field
- Strong technical knowledge for project design and product development
- Proficient in AutoCAD and skillful in related PC operations including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
- Knowledge in Japanese will be an advantage
- Initiative, self-motivated, well-organized, detail-minded, creative, independent, responsible, strong communication and leadership skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadline

- 37K～40K
- Mon～Fri(9am～6pm)
- Discretionary Bonus(2 times/year)
- Annual Leave 11 days/1st year, 18 days/Max
