Our client, a leading asset manager with an expanding global reach, is now looking an experienced candidate to join their expanding team:
Responsibilities
•Work with senior members of the Korean and Southeast Asian Institutional Sales team to assist in building relationship with clients and consultants and provide ongoing dedicated contact to ensure timely updates on investment products, fund, market trends, etc.
•build strong, professional working relationships with key prospects and consultants, typically over the phone
•effectively communicate and present the investment strategies of SLI to prospective clients
•To proactively follow up client requests, working closely with functions such as operations, legal and compliance, etc.
•To support the Institutional Sales team in the planning and organising of core client activities, and communication of information.
•To create, maintain and enhance productive working relationships with all internal and external customers
•Assist to identify specific needs of institutional investors in the development of products and distribution channels
•Provide assistance with research/sales activities of the fund managers/product specialists from SLI
•Take ownership to maintain strong business database and manage relevant information on all CRM including SalesForce
•develop business plans and programmes required to support the sales effort (e.g. arrange appropriate trips for fund managers / portfolio specialists to raise SLI profile and prospects)
•work closely with SLI Edinburgh office across a range of areas including client relationship management, product development, global strategic consultants, operations, RFP and presentation teams
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree and CFA qualification desirable
•Approximately 3 years plus experience in Korean and/or Southeast Asian institutional asset management
•Successful track record within a financial sales environment – ideally an Investment house.
•Sales Support (preferably in a financial services environment).
