Job Description
Our client, a leading global non-banking financial institution dully listed in New York and Japan is now looking for high caliber candidates to join their rapidly growing elite team-
Responsibilities:
- Assessment of new investment opportunities
- Develop financial models for new and existing investments, conduct extensive financial analysis
- Prepare presentations and investment committee memorandums for new and add-on investments
- Conduct project meetings and business negotiation, project tracking and analysis
- Manage coordinate and execute all aspects of transaction (due diligence process, valuation model, internal approval requirements, integration planning)
- Identify risks and issues related to integration planning, timelines, and functional areas
- Manage and monitor existing portfolio investments, interact constantly with management of investees
- Prepare periodic reviews of existing portfolio companies, including valuations and quarterly reports to investors
- Research and compile industry, competitor and comparable data
- Coordinate with HQ in Tokyo and Shanghai Office
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting or related disciplines
- 5 years of working experience as an Investment Project Manager in Investment Banks, Private Equity Funds, Big4s, Strategic Consulting firms
- Focused on M&A and other investment activities are highly preferred.
- Knowledge of financial modeling, statistics and project management
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in financial due diligence
- Hands-on experience in research, presentation preparation and data-mining
- Proven written and spoken English and Chinese / Mandarin proficiency
- CFA/CPA is an advantage
