<Job Summary>
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled R&D Chemist specializing in Polyurethane and Polymer Synthesis to join our team. This position plays a key role in developing and modifying polyurethane formulations, supporting customers with product testing and application development, and working closely with both local and international teams to deliver customized polymer solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate with customers to optimize product performance and contribute to innovation across multiple markets.

<Key Responsibilities>
1. Polymer Development & Formulation
- Design polymers according to specific customer requests and market requirements, present development proposals to customers, and propose them to company's research.
- Create applications that exist in the market based on company's existing products.
- Propose company's products to meet user needs.

2. Customer Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for product testing and application development.
- Work closely with sales and technical service teams to understand customer needs and translate them into R&D projects.
- Provide customized solutions and recommendations based on product testing and performance analysis.

3. Application & Product Testing
- Hear about the lab-scale test content required by users and request the Company to carry out the tests.

4. Regional & Global Collaboration
- Work with regional R&D teams to support international customers and share technical knowledge across markets.
- Participate in global development projects and technology transfers, as required.

5. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and detailed lab records in line with company SOPs and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines in all R&D activities.

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: BS in Polymer Synthesis / Polymer Chemistry.
・Language: Business Level in English (Must) and Japanese (highly preferred).
・Experience:
- Specialty/Experience: Polyurethane (PU) chemistry
- Ideally has experience studying or working in Japan, with a good understanding of Japanese culture and work style.
- Experience/network/interest in manufacturing industries: food, rubber/tires, plastics/automotive, plastics/building materials (plastic pallet, wood plastics, water tank, etc.), and/or paint/coating/adhesive.
- Experienced and willing to go on domestic and overseas business trips.

- Language: Japanese Language Proficiency N2 passer and above
- Studied or worked in Japan
- Technical sales or research experience
- Experience travelling in Vietnam and overseas.
