Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Participate in the design, development, and deployment of APIs using platforms such as IBM API Connect, Google API Gateway, or AWS API Gateway. - Support all phases of the API lifecycle including design, versioning, testing, deployment, and monitoring. - Implement robust security practices including authentication, authorization, rate limiting, and throttling. - Collaborate with backend and frontend teams to ensure seamless integration across systems. - Maintain thorough API documentation and assist with onboarding for both internal and external users. - Monitor API performance metrics and support troubleshooting and debugging activities. - Contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation efforts related to API deployments. - Stay current on best practices and feature updates for supported API gateway platforms. - Other responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science ・Business English proficiency (ability to communicate fluently to expats) ・Min. 2 years of experience as API Gateway Developer and are used to handling these following platforms: IBM API Connect, Google API Gateway, AWS API Gateway ・Good understanding of API security protocols (OAuth2, API Keys, JWT), RESTful APIs and OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and familiarity with scripting (Python, JavaScript) and integration patterns. ・Good analytical and problem solving abilities, excellent communication, good presentation and documentation skill
