The company team is looking for a Mid/Senior Data Engineer to be a part of a highly talented engineering team to help create world class big data platform. We are looking for team members that are required to be creative, build high scalable data processing systems using AWS, Hadoop , spark and other big data technologies. Take ownership and responsibility of new projects, participate and contribute to constantly improve best practices. Be ready to wear multiple hats to get things done in a highly energized, fast-paced, innovative and collaborative startup environment.
Requirements
You are a successful candidate if:
You have strong experience working in Java (at least 4 years)
Good hands on development experience in various AWS Services (Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, RDS and Dynamo DB (EKS will be nice to have)) - 3+ years
Experience in engineering data pipelines (including Streaming) using Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark etc.) on large scale unstructured data sets
Willingness to learn new programming languages to meet goals and objectives
Experience in developing Infrastructure as Code, with CI/CD pipelines is required. Preferably using Terraform or using other tools.
Microservices experience using Dockers/Kubernetes is nice to have
Should be willing to be on-call rotation as all developers are taking turns to provide L3 or L4 support for existing products, while working on new products.
