Job Description
・Analyze soybean attributes and cultivation factors to identify taste, nutritional, and functional qualities critical for product development. ・Design and implement experimental frameworks, including pilot region trials, sample size determination, and performance indicators to validate agronomic potential and optimize production. ・Conduct field research on soybean planting, growth, and sensory performance to generate reliable data supporting product quality and scalability. ・Prepare research reports and technical recommendations, highlighting key findings, risks, and strategic implications for development. ・Establish quality standards and performance benchmarks for seed cultivation, harvesting, and processing to ensure consistency and reliability. ・Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and Marketing to align trials, formulations, regulatory compliance, and market positioning. ・Oversee seed propagation by selecting parent stock, supervising multiplication fields, and conducting quality control to maintain genetic integrity and yield performance. ・Define technical requirements and coordinate development of agricultural machinery (e.g., seeders, sortation, grading systems), including prototype testing and refinement for efficiency and scalability. ・Develop and refine equipment specifications to ensure operational feasibility and product quality. ・Evaluate and implement new technologies and farming systems (e.g., automated grading, shared machinery models) to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen long-term production viability. ・Monitor pilot production activities, including planting, crop supervision, harvesting, and post-harvest handling to ensure adherence to agronomic protocols and minimize losses. ・Support R&D budget planning and resource forecasting, covering materials, equipment, and training needs. ・Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
・Master's degree from Food Technology, Agricultural Science, Biotechnology, or related. ・8 years of experience as R&D Assistant Manager from FMCG or Agriculture industry. ・Business English proficiency. ・Proficiency in experimental design and statistical analysis (Excel, SPSS, R) ・Familiarity with agricultural machinery/system prototypes ・Knowledge of seed quality standards, post-harvest handling, and food safety. ・Strategic, analytical, and problem-solving mindset ・Strong communication and stakeholder management ・Accountability, adaptability in lab/field, and attention to detail ・Ability to lead and align cross-functional teams ・Field trial design and evaluation ・Agronomic SOP development and quality inspection ・Machine/system testing and troubleshooting ・Sensory evaluation and product quality optimization
