Job Description
- Lead, mentor, and grow the QA team by setting quality standards, reviewing test strategies, and promoting a quality-first engineering culture. - Own and continuously improve the QA function by defining scalable processes, testing best practices, and quality metrics. - Remain hands-on in testing activities, including manual and API testing, while ensuring comprehensive test coverage throughout the product lifecycle. - Collaborate closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and global teams in Japan and Vietnam within Agile development environments. - Monitor defect trends, prioritize critical quality issues, and drive timely resolutions to improve product stability. - Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation. - Ensure release readiness by validating product quality before deployment. - Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation, AI-powered testing tools, and process improvements. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on quality metrics, root cause analysis, and customer feedback. - Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field - High conversational English proficiency - Min. 5 years of experience as Software Quality Assurance with at least 1 year of experience as a Lead role in IT industry, with strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), manual testing, API testing, and defect management tools - Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams while designing and implementing QA processes, standards, and quality metrics - Experience working in Agile development environments, PostgreSQL, leverage AI-powered tools to improve testing productivity and efficiency - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced software development environment
