Job Description
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for product categories and sourcing - Set targets, provide coaching, and foster competency development - Negotiate short-term and long-term contracts with suppliers - Manage suppliers including selection, performance evaluation (KPIs), diversification, and risk mitigation - Control costs by initiating cost-saving measures and analyzing total cost of ownership - Ensure smooth supply chain by managing lead times, safety stock, and coordinating with production/logistics - Handle compliance and documentation including contracts, POs, payment terms, and audits - Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, R&D, and finance departments - Implement and optimize purchasing/ERP system and approval workflows - Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree - High Conversational JLPT N3 Japanese & Conversational English proficiency - 1 year of experience as Purchasing or Supply Chain Staff from any Manufacture, experienced in communicating and negotiating with suppliers - Detail-oriented, responsible, and proactive - Able to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams
