Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company goals, particularly for food service operations. - Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance monitoring. - Analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply risks to support cost efficiency and business continuity. - Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms while maintaining long-term partnerships. - Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, compliance, and cost competitiveness. - Oversee inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and avoid stock shortages or overstock. - Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, finance, warehouse, kitchen/production) to ensure smooth supply chain operations. - Monitor and control purchasing budgets, ensuring cost optimization without compromising quality standards. - Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements. - Utilize ERP systems (Accpac, Dynamics, etc.) to manage procurement data, reporting, and analysis. - Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, cost savings, and supplier evaluation. - Lead and develop the purchasing team, including performance management and capability building.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Minimum Bachelor’s degree. ・At least 4 years of experience in the same position or managerial level in same industry. ・Strong negotiation skills. ・Preferably within the retail or food service industry. ・Able to analyze and make strategic decisions related to market trends and cost. ・Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP, Accpac, and Dynamics. ・Capable of assessing, selecting, and evaluating suppliers effectively. ・Skilled in inventory control.
