Job Description

- Analyze and improve the manufacturing flow from mixing to vulcanizing, thoroughly eliminating waste of time and resources.
- Operate and develop maintenance plans for major machinery such as Banbury mixers, open mills, calendars, and forming machines.
- Set and control critical parameters (temperature, pressure, heating time) in the vulcanizing process to prevent defects such as scorching and porosity.
- Conduct basic design and evaluation of molds and jigs & fixtures to improve product assembly efficiency.
- Monitor and report KPIs such as yield, reject rate, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), implementing improvements based on lean production methods (conducting Root Cause Analysis: RCA).
- Promote standardization based on quality standards like ISO 9001, and ensure compliance with safety protocols (K3) for workplaces handling high-temperature machinery and hazardous chemicals.
- Provide guidance on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to operators and maintain close collaboration with maintenance and R&D departments (for mass production transition of new compounds).
- Production engineer team management and report to Japanese management.
- Other related tasks as assigned 

Job Requirement

- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's (S1) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- More than 10 years working experience as production engieer and main career in Rubber related.
- Having strong management expeirence 
- Knowledge of the structure and operation of rubber manufacturing machinery (mixers, forming machines, etc.) and control knowledge of the vulcanizing (curing) process.
- Skills in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and basic knowledge of lean production methods.
- Understanding of quality control standards such as ISO 9001 and understanding of occupational safety and health (K3) protocols in factories.
