Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Lead the end-to-end procurement of primary raw materials for wire - Translate product-specific material specs for into clear purchase requirements - Build and manage a reliable, risk-balanced supplier base through qualification, negotiation, and ongoing performance management - Work closely with Plant Managers, Process Engineers, and QA teams on material requirements, incoming quality, and non-conformance resolution - Align procurement planning with production schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent supply disruptions - Drive cost reduction through strategic sourcing, value engineering, and competitive bidding - Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, import/export regulations, and audit documentation requirements
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering - Min. 3 years of working experience as Procurement Manager within the Steel Wire or Automotive manufacturing industry - Proven experience in production process or process engineering before transitioning into a Procurement role - Business English Proficiency - Strong working knowledge of steel wire manufacturing processes and Familiarity with mechanical and metallurgical properties of steel wire products - Demonstrated ability to lead a procurement team and manage cross-functional relationships with engineering, production, quality, and finance stakeholders.
