Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Source, assess, and onboard dependable suppliers for the sweets and confectionery sector - Establish and nurture strong supplier partnerships to support long-term cooperation - Work closely with production and planning teams to anticipate and plan raw material requirements - Track purchase orders and follow up to ensure on-time delivery of materials - Support budgeting activities and conduct cost analysis for raw material procurement - Ensure all purchased materials comply with defined specifications and quality standards - Maintain accurate documentation of purchasing activities, pricing, and inventory levels - Assist new product development initiatives by sourcing appropriate raw materials - Food Safety: Implement and monitor hygiene, allergen control, traceability records, temperature checks, and CCPs - Conduct monthly internal audits and oversee corrective actions
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or other related major ・High conversational level of Japanese or English Business level skill ・Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement in the sweet and confectionery industry ・Strong knowledge of HACCP and GMP standards, with proficiency in production software and Google Sheets. ・Proven experience in negotiating with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable commercial terms. ・Familiarity with the sweets and confectionery industry process ・Willing to be trained in Japan <Preferable Skill / Experience> ・Basic understanding of BPOM labeling requirements and co-packing processes ・Experience or working exposure to lean manufacturing principles, 5S practices, and line balancing
