Job Description
- Develop and manage production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity planning.
- Implement and oversee the Kanban system and JIT (Just-In-Time) production to optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Monitor and analyze production data to ensure efficiency and timely delivery of products.
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Ensure effective coordination between procurement, production, and delivery teams to maintain a smooth supply chain.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, TPS, and Kaizen principles.
- Utilize PPIC software and ERP systems to manage planning and logistics functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production and logistics KPIs.
- Other related tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
・Minimum of 5 years’ experience of PPIC supervisory role in automotive related industry (Assistant Manager~)with handling logistic and supply chain process
・In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Kanban systems, Just-In-Time (JIT) methodologies, and lean manufacturing practices.
・Proven ability to manage budgets effectively and a solid understanding of the Toyota Production System (TPS) and continuous improvement through Kaizen.
・Proficient in analyzing production data, managing STO (Stock Transfer Orders), planning capacity, and coordinating across departments.
・Strong capabilities in strategic thinking, resource allocation, decision-making, and solving complex operational challenges.
・Familiarity with PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) software tools.
Comprehensive understanding of logistics processes, including supply chain, transportation, and warehouse management.
・Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide teams and collaborate effectively across functions.
・Able to communicate in English / Japanese
