Job Description
- Conduct mold problem analysis using structured methodologies such as 4M, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis. - Identify root causes of non-conforming (NG) products related to mold issues, including flash, short shot, warpage, sink marks, burn marks, and other molding defects. - Perform comprehensive mold condition inspections, including cavity, core, parting line, venting system, cooling system, slider, and lifter components. - Coordinate closely with Production, QC, QA, Maintenance teams, and external customers to resolve technical issues effectively. - Prepare systematic analysis reports and provide corrective and preventive action recommendations. - Follow up on mold trials after corrective actions have been implemented to ensure effectiveness. - Maintain documentation of mold repair history and continuous improvement records. - Propose and implement improvement initiatives to prevent recurring mold-related problems. - Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
・Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. ・Conversational level of English ・Have 2 years of experience in Mold Part Engineering or injection molding environment. ・Competent in creating and interpreting 2D and 3D technical drawings. ・Able to set and adjust robot programs related to molding operations and capable of setting up and operating injection molding machines. ・Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to implement improvements in injection molding processes and able to operate and control machine temperature control systems. ・Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively across departments. ・Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
