Job Description
- Inspect and verify machine condition prior to mold installation or changeover. - Prepare and ensure all standard operational requirements are completed before mold replacement. - Perform mold changes in accordance with the production plan issued by Production Control (PC). - Ensure operator safety by conducting safety checks after mold installation and machine setup. - Set up molds, adjust machine parameters, configure robot programs, and conduct production trials until samples are approved by QC. - Analyze and troubleshoot defects (NG products) identified during production and carry out necessary corrective actions. - Support new mold trials, production equipment maintenance, and repair activities to maintain optimal performance. - Coordinate effectively with Production, QA/QC, Maintenance, and other related departments to ensure smooth operations. - Handle new mold production setup, including experience with machines up to 650-ton capacity. - Perform traceability analysis based on abnormal or defect reports. - Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities related to mold setup and injection processes. - Develop and maintain process documentation such as Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). - Conduct structured mold problem analysis using methodologies such as 4M, 5 Why, and Fishbone analysis. - Prepare systematic analysis reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions - Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
・Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field. ・Conversational level of English ・Have 2 years of experience in setting, operating injection molding machines with 650 ton capacity from Japanese company ・Competent in creating and interpreting 2D and 3D technical drawings. ・Able to set and adjust robot programs related to molding operations and capable of setting up and operating injection molding machines. ・Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to implement improvements in injection molding processes and able to operate and control machine temperature control systems. ・Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively across departments. ・Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
