Job Description
- Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, and maintenance of jigs, fixtures, and production machinery - Conduct regular inspection and maintenance of jigs and machinery to ensure proper functionality and operational reliability - Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to jigs, machinery, and production equipment - Verify and inspect completed maintenance and repair work to ensure that equipment meets the required standards and specifications - Develop and maintain the master work schedule for the mechanical team, ensuring that maintenance and project activities are properly planned and completed on schedule - Coordinate mechanical work activities with relevant departments to minimize production disruptions - Read and interpret 2D and 3D technical drawings for fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance activities - Operate and utilize power tools and basic machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses, as required - Support improvements to jigs, machinery, and mechanical processes to enhance operational efficiency, safety, and equipment reliability - Prepare maintenance records and report mechanical issues, repair progress, and completed work to the supervisor - Ensure all fabrication, maintenance, and installation activities are conducted in accordance with safety procedures and company standards - Work independently or collaboratively with the mechanical team to achieve assigned objectives within the required timeline - Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Conversational English proficiency - At least 2 years of experience as mechanical engineering for automotive Japanese companies manufacture - Able to perform or understand fabrication, assembly, installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of jigs and machinery - Able to read, interpret and design 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks - Proficient in operating power tools and basic machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and drill presses - Good understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and maintenance principles - Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues on-site - Good communication, problem solving skills, and able to work independently
