Job Description
- Manage the end-to-end import process, from purchase order placement and documentation preparation to customs clearance and delivery to the warehouse - Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of all import documents, including PI, PO, Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, PIB, and other supporting documents - Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers (PPJK), and government authorities to ensure smooth import operations - Monitor shipment schedules and customs clearance activities to ensure timely delivery and minimize operational disruptions - Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, and Commercial teams to support inventory availability and business requirements - Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import licensing requirements, and international trade regulations - Resolve issues related to shipment delays, customs matters, and documentation discrepancies by providing effective solutions - Prepare import performance reports, evaluate operational processes, and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness - Other responsibilities as needed
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree - Business English proficiency - Minimum 3 years of experience as an Export Import Supervisor professional or equivalent role in General/Chemical Trading, FMCG, or logistics industry, with experience in leading or supervising an export-import team and coordinating with multiple stakeholders - Proven experience in handling PI, PO, Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading (B/L), COO, PIB, and understanding in HS Code, Incoterms, customs clearance, and international shipment - Proficient in using ERP - Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, coordination, and analytical skills
