Job Description

<Job Responsibilities>
- Take full accountability for overall factory performance, including Production, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety (QCDS)
- Lead and align department heads (Production, Quality, Production Control, HSE, Maintenance) to achieve business and operational targets
- Drive factory turnaround initiatives, particularly in stabilizing production output and improving quality standards
- Develop and execute mid- to long-term operational strategies in line with company and HQ direction
- Establish and monitor KPIs, ensuring data-driven decision making and continuous performance improvement
- Implement and strengthen lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices (Kaizen, cost reduction, efficiency optimization)
- Oversee production planning and resource allocation to ensure optimal utilization and on-time delivery
- Ensure strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, and foster a strong safety culture
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving for critical operational issues (quality defects, delays, inefficiencies)
- Manage factory budgeting, cost control, and investment planning 
- Develop and build a strong local leadership pipeline, including coaching and mentoring key personnel and expatriate staff
- Establish a self-reliant and sustainable organizational structure within the factory
- Act as a strategic bridge between local operations and headquarters, ensuring alignment and smooth communication
- Report factory performance and key issues to HQ, and propose actionable improvement plans
- Drive organizational discipline, governance, and standardization across all factory functions

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Minimum 8–12 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a Factory Manager or equivalent leadership role in a Japanese company or with Japanese management style
・ Proven track record in improving production efficiency and quality performance (e.g., reducing defects, increasing yield, improving OEE)
・Strong experience in managing multi-function teams (Production, QA/QC, PPIC, Maintenance, HSE)
・Hands-on experience in factory turnaround, problem-solving, and implementing corrective actions on the shop floor
・Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to drive discipline and accountability
・Fluent in English or Japanese
