Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to ESG policies and procedures. - Create and execute ESG strategies, policies, and frameworks that align with the organization's values and goals. - Conduct thorough ESG assessments to identify key sustainability risks and opportunities - Lead the development and execution of ESG strategy, policies, and programs across the factory. - Drive sustainability initiatives related to energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and carbon footprint management. - Monitor and report on ESG performance, ensuring transparency and accountability. - Develop and manage ESG disclosure obligations and technology systems. - Develop and implement community outreach programs to educate local residents about the factory's waste management practices and environmental safety measures. - Organize and conduct workshops, seminars, and informational sessions to raise awareness about the potential impacts of toxic waste and proper disposal methods. - Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external parties and customers - Other responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Min. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related ・Min. Business Level English proficiency (proficient for technical communication with European expats) ・Min. 7 year of experience as an ESG Compliance in footwear or garment industry with 3 years of experience as Leader/Management (managing ESG team), experienced in doing audit including online and coordinating with external parties ・Familiar with standard of ESG regulation and frameworks, knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, chemical compliance (ZDHC, MRSL, RSL) and social compliance standards (BSCI, SMETA, WRAP, SLCP, and Higg FSLM/FEM), data analysis of ESG metrics, and understanding or risk assessment methods and Corrective Action Plan management ・Strong leadership skill, good communication skill, proactive, responsible, and strong cross functional coordination abilities
