Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Lead electrical design and technical advisory for data center projects from feasibility, concept design, detailed design, through construction and commissioning. - Act as the primary client-facing electrical expert, delivering presentations and explaining key decisions such as voltage selection, redundancy (N, N+1, 2N), reliability targets, and capacity planning - Review, validate, and approve electrical design deliverables including single line diagrams, load calculations, specifications, and design reports - Oversee and guide the review of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements from contractors - Manage and provide direction on RFIs and technical issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and optimized design - Interface with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and site-related issues - Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices such as Uptime Institute Tier standards, IEEE, IEC, and NFPA - Monitor construction progress, conduct site inspections, and witness testing & commissioning activities - Review contractor progress reports, manage documentation, and lead technical meetings including preparation of MOM - Support commercial and contractual matters including variation orders (VO) and technical evaluations - Lead, mentor, and supervise junior engineers and reviewers within the team
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering ・Active business level of English Proficiency ・Min. 10 years of experience as Electrical Design Manager in the construction industry with direct experience in construction for Data Center ・Strong knowledge of MV/LV systems, UPS, generators, and redundancy ・Proficient in engineering and design tools ETAP ・Able to work in a team, good communication skill, and stakeholder management skills.
