Job Description
- Develop and improve fastener products and manufacturing processes, including product layout, tooling assembly, and tooling design - Create and review 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fastener products, dies, tooling, and related production equipment - Design and develop tooling and die structures according to product specifications, production requirements, and quality standards - Analyze and solve die and tooling-related problems during development and mass production - Review and optimize the fastener production flow process, from material preparation and forming through finishing and inspection - Coordinate with Production, Quality, and other Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve manufacturing efficiency - Prepare and review PPAP documentation, ensuring all required documents meet customer and internal requirements - Take a leading role in PFMEA and QCPC preparation, review, and improvement - Identify potential manufacturing risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions - Support continuous improvement activities related to product quality, tooling performance, productivity, and production cost - Ensure engineering activities and manufacturing processes comply with IATF 16949 and applicable customer requirements - Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers and staff - Support new product development, engineering changes, trial production, and mass-production implementation - Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Diploma's degree in Engineering - At least 2 years of experience as Design Engineer handling Fastener product from Automotive Manufacture - Knowledge in PPAP, PFMEA, QCPC, IATF 16949 - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
