Job Description

1. Technical & Operational Support
•Follow up and respond to all technical inquiries from customers.
•Monitor the operation reliability of customers’ power stations and provide technical-commercial support when issues arise.
•Support the planning, arrangement, and implementation of periodic inspections at customer power plants.
•Maintain close communication with customers regarding plant operation status, operating conditions, and planned inspection schedules.
•Assist customers in resolving any failures arising after product/service installation, both during and after the warranty period.
•Have close communication with customers, including visiting customers’ sites, to gather information, and share summarized information to Internal Stakeholders.
•Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders and prepare the proposals and solutions for customers’ requirements and problems.
•Explore and evaluate local vendors for expanding solution options and improved proposals to customers.

2. Sales & Commercial Responsibilities
•Explain and Promote product information to customers.
•Perform market research and analyze purchasing needs/after sales customer needs.
•Research and analyze for competitor’s trend of technology for new and after sales business.
•Formulate marketing strategy to achieve order target of the company.
•Coordinate with related departments in the company and affiliate companies in Indonesia (hereinafter “Internal Stakeholders”) .
•Consolidate cost estimates and prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
•Attend meetings with Internal Stakeholders as well as customers, and take on a supportive role to ensure smooth communications made in Bahasa, English (and Japanese).
•Draft up commercial correspondences, including e-mails and letters, attention to Internal Stakeholders and customers.
•Monitor and control all incoming and outgoing documents.
•Coordinate with Internal Stakeholders and secure arrangements of VISA, hotel bookings, and transportation for visitors to and from Indonesia.
•Assist in the preparation & implementation of annual sales forecast.
•Support the execution of ordered projects by coordinating with relevant departments within the company, affiliates in the group, and clients. This includes visiting client offices or power plant sites to gather customer feedback and ensure the smooth and successful implementation of the project.
•Monitor/coordinate/report project status and delivered products status.
•Assist clients for any failures arise after products and services has been installed during and after the warranty period.
•Report activities and feedback any claim or suggestion by customer to superior.
•Other related tasks as assigned

Job Requirement

•Bachelor or higher degree in business administration, economics, engineering or a related field from reputable university.
•Minimum 3 years of working experience as a sales engineer/sales assistant manager up in the energy industry
•Fluency in English (Business level).
•Possess high level integrity and ability to work under pressure.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word,Excel and PowerPoint) skills.
•Critical, analytical and logical thinker.
•Detail- oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both local and international teams
•Excellent communication skills.
•Knowledge of International Commercial terms.
•Japanese communication skill (Preferred).
•Knowledge of local laws and regulations (Preferred).
•Previous experience working with or in Japanese companies is highly preferred.
