Job Description
1. Formulate and execute the Partner Strategy by:
- Identifying and developing potential local suppliers and strategic partners
- Facilitating collaboration with headquarters and global partners
2. Create synergy across the logistics value chain by proposing improvements and cost-effective solutions to enhance operations
3. Act as a key liaison and future managerial candidate to handle business development with OEMs and potential partners
4. Support new business development initiatives, especially in the areas of EV, emission reduction, carbon neutrality (CN) within logistics and manufacturing operations
5. Drive strategic projects including developing partner strategy, establishing JV or TA, expanding local manufacturing through strategic alliances
6. Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments, partners, and clients
7. Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Job Requirement
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Busines level English
- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Development Manager in Supply Chain division, specifically in one or more of the following areas:
A) Automotive International Trading
B) Automotive Manufacturing
C) Logistics (e.g., Forwarding, 3PL) serving the Automotive sector
- Strong negotiation skills and practical finance knowledge to engage partners in manufacturing-related joint ventures
- Ability to formulate and execute mid-to-long-term strategies in areas such as vehicle electrification and carbon-neutral logistics, including managing the PDCA cycle with a strong business mindset
- Willingness to travel frequently for business purposes
