Job Description

- Manage day-to-day workshop operations for heavy equipment, logging trucks, and operational vehicles
- Plan and execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities
- Ensure equipment availability and reliability meet operational targets
- Monitor maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of repair work
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective troubleshooting and corrective actions
- Supervise workshop supervisors, mechanics, electricians, and technicians
- Monitor maintenance KPIs including equipment downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance costs
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement activities
- Control maintenance expenses in accordance with approved budgets
- Coordinate with Operations and Planning teams to prioritize equipment maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company maintenance standards
- Prepare maintenance reports, equipment performance analysis, and management presentations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and workshop productivity
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using ERP or maintenance management systems
- Other responsibilities as needed

Job Requirement

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Heavy Equipment Engineering, or related field
- High conversational English proficiency
- At least 3 years of experience as a Workshop Manager within forestry, mining, heavy equipment, construction, plantation, or similar industries, experienced inn managing maintenance for heavy equipment, logging trucks, and operational vehicles
- Strong knowledge of preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, diesel engines, power train, braking systems, and suspension
- Experience in spare parts management, inventory control, and maintenance cost control, strong equipment troubleshooting and reliability improvement skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/CMMS systems
- Willing to be based in remote operational areas
- Good leadership, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills, able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
