Job Description
- Promote wellbeing, personal development, and emotional health of students across the school - Collaborate with Wellbeing Coordinator, students, parents/guardians, teachers, leadership, and external professionals to ensure students are supported to thrive academically, socially and personally - Follow the Professional Student Counselling & Psychology Codes of Ethics (ABKIN & HIMPSI) - Follow the principal of confidentiality in counselling sessions - Report concerns immediately to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) - Document and maintain secure records of student's counselling information - Be available for consultation and involvement in Child Protection cases where required by the DSL - Determines the length and scheduling of counselling sessions in accordance with professional judgement, ethical standards, and the individual needs of the student - Maintain referral list of local professionals in Jakarta and make referrals when needed - Maintain professional boundaries with students and families - Other tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree - Business English proficiency (fluency in teaching foreign students) - At least 5 years of experience as Student Counsellor in an international school - High integrity, Active and willing to participate in school activities
