Job Description
- Coordinate product development with selected manufacturing partners, ensuring product specifications and requirements align with Japan Head Office standards. - Work closely with production, merchandising, and logistics teams to ensure product quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process. - Track production schedules, manufacturing capacity, and delivery deadlines throughout the product development and mass production processes. - Supervise product quality inspections, provide technical guidance to factories, and address quality-related issues through on-site coordination. - Investigate product quality issues and implement appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions to minimize defects and prevent recurrence. - Control production costs by recommending specification modifications and identifying opportunities to improve manufacturing efficiency. - Regular business trip to factory - Other responsibilities as needed
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree - Business English Proficiency - Min. 7 years of experience as a QA/QC in Retail (Product Development & Management System), Fashion Trading (Product Development & Management System), or Third-Party Inspector companies, with understanding of Production Management (from the development stage to the production process and shipment) - Strong knowledge of Japanese quality standards, with prior experience handling products for Japanese brands - Excellent communication skills, with a strong sense of responsibility, self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently while consistently delivering assigned tasks
