Job Description
- Work closely with headquarters to support the development of localized products and market expansion initiatives - Propose innovative product ideas and improvements based on local market trends and customer requirements - Participate in new product development projects from concept to mass production - Review and revise product specifications to ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements in export destinations - Ensure that all products meet applicable quality, safety, and regulatory standards - Create and maintain technical documentation related to product specifications and development activities - Identify, develop, and validate new materials and components sourced from local suppliers - Conduct material qualification activities and coordinate supplier evaluations to verify compliance with company standards - Support material localization initiatives aimed at improving cost efficiency and supply chain sustainability - Conduct product testing, analysis, and validation activities to evaluate material and product performance - Analyze test results and make recommendations for product enhancement and process improvement - Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues related to product quality or performance - Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, procurement, and supply chain departments to ensure successful product launches - Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding product development projects and technical requirements - Participate in and support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives within the organization - Perform other assigned duties
Job Requirement
- Fresh Graduates with Engineering Degree are welcome - Bachelor’s degree (S1) in a science or engineering field (chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field) - Business-level Japanese proficiency (speaking and writing, own minimum JLPT N3) and conversational-level English proficiency - Knowledge of product development processes, material evaluation methods, product testing, quality standards, and manufacturing processes - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
