Job Description

- Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with company objectives and operational requirements
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation
- Analyze market trends, pricing movements, and supply risks to support cost efficiency and business continuity
- Negotiate pricing, quality standards, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve the best commercial outcomes while maintaining strong supplier partnerships
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, compliance, service level, and cost competitiveness
- Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and prevent shortages or excess inventory
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, Warehouse, and Production/Kitchen teams, to ensure seamless supply chain operations
- Monitor and control purchasing budgets, ensuring cost optimization without compromising quality and service standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and applicable legal requirements
- Utilize ERP systems (such as Accpac and Microsoft Dynamics) to manage procurement activities, reporting, and data analysis
- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance, supplier evaluations, cost-saving initiatives, and purchasing KPIs
- Lead, mentor, and develop the purchasing team through effective performance management and capability-building initiatives
- Other tasks as assigned

Job Requirement

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Business level English proficiency
- At least 7 years of purchasing experience in retail, F&B, or FMCG industry
- At least 3 years of managerial experience handling at least 5 subordinates
- Proven experience in cost control, inventory planning, inventory control, supplier management, and procurement processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP, Accpac, or Dynamics
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of working in a fast-paced business environment
