Job Description
- Prepare and review BQ and project costs based on drawings and specifications. - Negotiate costs with contractors and vendors to stay within budget. - Review construction drawings and designs to ensure they meet project standards. - Recommend suitable materials based on quality, safety, appearance, and cost. - Monitor construction work and project progress at the site. - Check the quality of materials and completed work. - Identify construction issues and provide technical solutions. - Ensure projects meet quality, safety, technical, and timeline requirements. - Check the final work and measurements before project completion and payment. - Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors. - Prepare project progress, inspection, and technical reports. - Communicate with Japan HQ regarding project progress, requirements, and vendor quality. - Other tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree from Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or related fields - Conversational level of Japanese (similar to N3 level) and high conversational level of English - Minimum 5 years experiences from related role - Strong knowledge of cost estimation, cost control, and BQ - Good understanding of building materials and construction processes - Able to read and understand technical/construction drawings - Strong negotiation and communication skills, with good presentation skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experienced in project coordination, contractor/vendor management, and project reporting
