Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Act as the on-site technical representative and liaison between HQ engineering teams and Indonesian OEM factories. - Transfer technical know-how, production standards, and SOPs to factory teams through training and capability development programs. - Lead new product/style launches from prototype to mass production, ensuring smooth engineering validation and production readiness. - Conduct pilot runs, pre-production reviews, and production approvals to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards. - Monitor daily production quality, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve technical and quality issues. - Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing efficiency. - Oversee tooling, equipment, and machinery readiness, including installation, calibration, maintenance, and qualification of new technologies. - Support sustainability, compliance, and factory audit requirements while maintaining technical documentation and performance reporting. - Other responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirement
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering. - Minimum Business Level Proficiency in English (for technical reporting and coordination with HQ). - Minimum 4 years of experience as Onsite Technician/Process Engineer in footwear/textile/apparel manufacture with proven experience in new product/style launches from prototype to mass production in OEM manufacture environment. - Strong knowledge of footwear construction processes (no-sew bonding, cold cement, knitting, etc.). - Ability to interpret technical specifications, tech packs, BOMs, engineering drawings, and construction samples. - Familiar with Six Sigma & Lean Manufacturing. - Willing to be placed in partner factories in Indonesia. - Hands-on and proactive, detail oriented, adaptable, good sense of ownership.
