Job Description
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of mechanical works for construction projects - Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documents - Assist in supervising and monitoring mechanical installation works at the project site - Coordinate mechanical works with other disciplines, including electrical, architectural, and structural teams - Assist in reviewing shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents from subcontractors and suppliers - Monitor the quality and progress of mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project specifications - Assist with mechanical engineering calculations, material quantity take-offs, and technical evaluations - Support testing, commissioning, inspection, and handover of mechanical systems - Identify technical issues on site and assist in developing appropriate solutions - Prepare reports, documentation, and other engineering deliverables as required - Ensure mechanical works are carried out in accordance with applicable standards, project requirements, and HSE procedures - Other responsibilities as needed
Job Requirement
- Associate degree (D3) majoring in Mechanical Engineer - Business English proficiency - Min. 1 year of working experience as mechanical engineer in the construction industry handling infrastructure projects - Willing to be placed in Batam in 2027 - Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and building mechanical systems - Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
