Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Design automation equipment, jigs, and special-purpose machines from concept to detailed drawings, based on customer specifications - Create and review 2D/3D CAD drawings and ensure designs meet safety, strength, and functionality requirements - Select mechanical components (drive systems, pneumatics, linear motion, structures) and develop cost effective design solutions - Lead design reviews, resolve technical issues, and ensure drawings are ready for manufacturing, assembly, and installation - Manage and maintain technical documentation including drawings, BOM, and design standards - Supervise and guide the mechanical design team, including task assignment, progress monitoring, and technical coaching - Coordinate with internal teams and support technical communication with customers and Japanese stakeholders - Support machine setup, testing, and troubleshooting during project implementation when required
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・ Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or another related field ・Proficient English Skill ・Minimum 5 years of working experience in an SPM manufacturing company as a mechanical design engineer ・Solid experience of using 2D / 3D CAD ・Experience in designing special-purpose machines, automation equipment, or production equipment ・Team player, hard working, and initiative
