Job Description
- Create, maintain, modify, and cleanse material master data in SAP, MDG, and CIGNAS - Ensure material master data is accurate, complete, consistent, and up to date - Maintain chemical-related material information and regulatory data - Evaluate and classify Dangerous Goods (DG) according to applicable regulations - Maintain DG attributes and classification in the master data system - Ensure compliance with GHS, IMDG, IATA, and other relevant DG regulations - Review and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical documentation - Maintain chemical information such as CAS Number, TDS, SDS, and Halal Declaration - Support labeling and documentation requirements for chemical products - Support international inventory and export activities related to chemical products - Provide material master data support for procurement, production, planning, inventory, and shipment activities - Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, procurement, production, and other related departments - Follow master data standards, naming conventions, and governance procedures - Document master data changes for audit and compliance purposes - Coordinate with IT regarding system and master data issues - Monitor and resolve data discrepancies and incomplete information - Ensure data consistency across SAP, MDG, CIGNAS, and other related systems - Support internal teams with timely material data setup and updates - Identify opportunities to improve master data quality and efficiency - Participate in Kaizen and QCC activities - Support company HSE standards and chemical safety requirements - Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Diploma degree in Computer Science - High Conversational English proficiency - At least 2 years of experience as Data Scientist using SAP or SAP MM in Chemical Trading or Chemical Manufacturing with knowledge of dangerous good safety - Good work ethics, Willing to learn, Polite, Strong communication skills
