Job Description
- Review registration and amendment requests for material and product master data against company standards (naming convention, mandatory attributes, unit of measure and conversion, coding structure). Accept or reject each request, and state the reason and required correction for every rejection. - Assign codes to accepted requests in accordance with the Code Numbering Rules, register them in the master, and return the assigned codes to the applicant department within the standard lead time. Execute attribute amendments and status updates (provisional, active, suspended, obsolete). - Cleanse data continuously by completing missing attributes, standardizing names, units and notation, correcting errors and consolidating duplicates. Keep records of all work performed. - Provide the latest master data to all departments and systems, and keep it accessible. - Verify consistency between master data sets. Identify which areas are affected by changes such as material price revisions and notify the relevant departments. - Evaluate material margin monthly for each product against the approved baseline. Break down the variance into selling price, material unit price, composition and exchange rate factors, and report it to the President Director via the SCM Manager. - Register revised baseline material margins only when they carry approval from product planning or the Selling Price Review Committee, and retain the previous values as history. - Guide user departments on application procedures and TMP standards, and respond to their enquiries. - Collect existing material and product data from each department. Organize it against company standards, remove duplicates, complete attributes and register it. - Calculate the initial baseline material margin for all existing products from current selling price, BOM and approved purchase price, and submit it for President Director approval. Report products that cannot be calculated, with the count and reasons. - Detect deficiencies in rules and standards through trial operation and report them to Strategy & Operation. - Brief user departments on procedures and standards. - Report the status of the conditions required to move to steady-state operation. - Other related tasks as assigned
Job Requirement
- Experience in Master data, Inventory control, Cost accounting in a manufacturing company - Understanding of BOM structure, Unit conversion, Code numbering, and Material cost calculation - Proficiency in spreadsheet software, Accurate, and ERP systems - Conversational level English
