Job Description
- Supervise the end-to-end import process, from purchase order issuance and documentation preparation to customs clearance and delivery to the warehouse - Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of import documents, including PI, PO, Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, COO, PIB, and other supporting documents - Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers (PPJK), and government authorities to ensure smooth import operations - Monitor shipment schedules, customs clearance progress, and delivery timelines to ensure materials arrive on schedule - Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse, Finance, and other related departments to support inventory availability and business operations - Ensure all import activities comply with customs regulations, import licensing requirements, and international trade regulations - Resolve issues related to shipment delays, customs clearance, documentation discrepancies, and logistics operations in a timely manner - Prepare import reports, monitor operational performance, recommend process improvements, and perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree - Conversational English proficiency (proficient for emails) - Min. 4 years of experience as Import Staff in Trading company, with experience in international shipment, coordinating with various internal and external parties including government authorities - Proven experience in handling import documentation, customs clearance, and international shipping processes - Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills
