Job Description
- Lead and supervise the Engineering team in daily engineering, maintenance, and facility activities - Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance for production machinery, utilities, and facilities - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues - Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions for recurring technical problems - Manage engineering projects, including planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control - Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure machine availability and minimize downtime - Prepare and maintain engineering, maintenance, equipment, and technical documentation - Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for maintenance, installation, repair, and engineering projects - Ensure engineering activities comply with applicable ISO/IATF, environmental, and occupational safety standards - Implement K3 requirements, including Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) - Lead continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, Lean, and TPM methodologies - Prepare work schedules and allocate tasks to Engineering team members - Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation for subordinates - Monitor engineering KPIs, maintenance costs, spare parts, and equipment performance - Support audits and ensure compliance with company procedures, safety regulations, and engineering standards - Other duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Bachelor degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering - High Conversational English proficiency - At least 2 years of experiences as Maintenance Leader in Japanese Automotive - Familiar with IATF, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 standards - Proficient in AutoCAD, CMMS, strong understanding of K3, PTW, LOTO, and JSA - Analytical, proactive, responsible, decisive, and team-oriented, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities
