Our Client: Our client is one of the leading Japanese manufacturing companies. They are currently seeking an application Engineer to join their team in Singapore. The Responsibilities: IT System administrators are mainly responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits. ・Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications ・Applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes ・Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults ・Replacing parts as required ・Setting up new users' accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues ・Supporting the roll-out of new applications ・Assisting with backup/recovery duties including testing of Backups and disaster recovery plans ・Assisting with the development and dissemination of IT security awareness and reporting of security risks ・Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports ・Performing routine audits of systems and software to prevent potential issues from occurring ・Working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) ・Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time ・Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with colleagues ・Testing and evaluating new technology ・Depending on the nature of the work, may be expected to work extra hours to finish a job The Requirements: ・With passion for IT and technology that is eager to learn and expand upon their current skill set ・Detail-oriented, with good written and interpersonal communication skills are essential ・Needs the ability to self-manage assigned tasks and responsibilities and work effectively within a high-pressure Team environment. ・A degree holder or with IT-related qualifications ・Previous exposure to ISO97001 may be advantageous ・Knowledge in any of the following desirable: Windows 10 and 11 Pro MS Office 2019 / 365 Google Workspace RGF Privacy Policy – https://www.singapore.rgf-professional.com/privacy-policy Disclaimer: The Company complies with the Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices (TGFEP), including the prevailing guidelines on recruitment.
