- Monday-Friday (8:00~17:00)
§ Salary Range: Maximum Gross 3000 USD per month
JOB DUTIES:
§ Report to Japanese clients
§ Manage 4 Vietnamese SE
§ Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and discuss directly with Japanese clients about system specifications
- Transfer specifications to team in Vietnam
- Responsible for delivering good project quality
- Report to clients about project status
- Team management: ensure all team members’ performance to achieve assigned targets: project quality, timeline through daily staff management, motivation, coaching and evaluation.
- PJT management: understand project’s target and achieve with all members. Ensure project timeline and follow process, reporting to customers and doing feedback to members timely.
- Customer management: be a key contact point between customers in Japan and team members in Vietnam; handle all customers’ requirements; discuss and dealing with all issues raised if any.
- Key person in the company: this is the backbone role of the company. We expect this role to handle many teams and lead the company to develop in the future
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
§ Desirable Background & Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree, prefer majoring in Information Technology
- Language Skills: Good communication skills in Japanese is a must (at least N2), knowing English is definitely a plus
- Relevant working experience at BSE position in Vietnam or have experience working in Japan
- Familiar with Web programming (Ruby, PHP, Java)
- Good communication and team work skills
- Can work under pressure of deadlines and workloads
§ Preferable Technical Competencies:
- Familiar with OOP methodology and web application design
- Experienced in Web services protocol such as HTTP, REST, SOAP
- Experienced in MVC frameworks (Ruby on Rails, Symfony, CakePHP)
- Familiar with Database design (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL DB)
- Have experience working with Linux system (Centos, Ubuntu)
- Have basic knowledge about software testing
- Have experience working with version control system such as SVN, Git
- Have experience in key-value store engine (Redis), back-end index engines such as Sphinx, Solr is a huge plus
