<Job Description> - Ultrasonic Inspection: o Perform ultrasonic testing on weld joints and areas requiring special inspection according to design drawings and standards. o Analyze and evaluate inspection results, and prepare detailed inspection reports. - Reporting: o Prepare inspection result reports and evaluate the quality of steel structures. o Analyze defects (if any) and propose corrective measures. - Acceptance Participation: Attend acceptance and handover meetings. - Technical Updates: Research and stay updated on new standards and regulations related to ultrasonic testing for steel structures. - Other Support Tasks: Support other departmental tasks as assigned.
Job Requirement
<Job Requirements> - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields. - Languages: Japanese proficiency at N2 level; English reading comprehension of technical documents. - Experience: o At least 3 years of experience in ultrasonic testing of steel structures. o Possession of a Japanese UT inspection certificate for steel structures or a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certificate according to AWS QC1 standards. - Knowledge: o Strong understanding of ultrasonic inspection principles and methods. o In-depth knowledge of common defects in steel structures and their evaluation. o Familiarity with standards and regulations for steel structure quality inspection. - Skills: o Proficient in operating ultrasonic testing equipment. o Strong data analysis and reporting skills. o Good communication skills; able to work independently and in a team.
