Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Regularly evaluate existing suppliers and share the results with them to promote improvement activities. - Analyze inventory status, production plans, and demand forecasts to lead activities aimed at proper inventory management. - Manage cost reduction activities and lead initiatives aimed at improving profitability. - Collaborate with the headquarters' procurement department to share information and coordinate efforts for the stable supply of parts. - Manage procurement activities in compliance with laws and regulations. - Develop new suppliers for local procurement in Vietnam. Evaluate and select based on QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery). - Direct Import/Export operations in accordance with EPE to ensure smooth handling of products, parts, and work materials. - To execute Import/Export operations in compliance with EPE regulations, direct the thorough management of inventory for parts and materials, as well as the disposal of waste materials. - Coordinate with logistics providers and lead the establishment of a management system to ensure the smooth operation of VNACSS input tasks. - Lead the planning and development of optimal transportation plans in coordination with logistics providers. - Analyze freight rates and contracts with logistics providers, and promote activities aimed at improving QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery). - Build a work environment that ensures employees' safety. - Establish standards for work standardization to minimize individual work deviations. - Plan and promote educational programs aimed at enhancing the skills for multi-skilled of production control department staff. - Other job assigned from time to time by Japanese managers.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's Degree - Japanese - Business level (N2 or above). - English - Conversational level (for internal communication). - At least 8 years of experience in Production planning and Procurement work for manufacturing companies. - At least 3 years of managerial experience. - Knowledge of import/export business. <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience working for electronic parts manufacturer. - Experience working for a Japanese company (EPE). - Experience in a company establishment. - Knowledge of preparation for ERP (SAP). - Experience using VNACCS <Preferable Personalities> - Analytical and problem solving skills. - Ability to manage change and raise productivity. - Planning, reviewing and controlling. - Demonstrate ability on leadership and startegic thinking. - Stress management skills and time management skills. - Be honest and trustworthy. - Be respectful and be flexible. - Process cultural awareness and sensitivity. - Be a cheerful and serious personality - Able to clarify objectives and drive projects forward via the shortest route.
