Job Description
Ensures effective utilization of warehouse areas and control daily proper loading, unloading, stocking and safekeeping of items to maintain the quality of finished goods, to prevent product damage and avoid occurrence of pilferage, accidents and occupational hazards.
• Coordinates with related departments for incoming day today deliveries, and maintain a ready MIS on daily basis, for finished goods and parts.
• Effectively monitors flow of goods and implements First-In First-Out (FIFO) method in dispatch of spare parts and finished goods.
• Instruct the staff of the partner company (production company) and let them improve if any breakages or loss of parts or the different parts to be shipped
• Maintains the highest standards of customer service by ensuring right and safe packaging before dispatch. Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements. Suggest Improvements in packing and container stuffing as and when required.
• Coordinates with the related department in maintaining minimum and maximum level of finished goods in warehouse based on demand and forecast.
• Operate visual delivery tracking systems in order that commodity status can be seen at a glance. Effectively implements warehouse and inventory monitoring systems and procedures
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to plan and perform all aspects of warehousing and parts operations including logistics to successful completion for complex, multi-faceted initiatives.
Experience of warehousing jobs & Spare Parts operations over 5 to 10 years.
• Also have the knowledge of Packaging/logistics in both domestic and overseas for the whole products or spare parts.
• Should have the commercial knowledge of business including the export and import.
• Preferably from 29 to 35 years old.
• Sufficient experience of intermediate trade (India, export countries and 3rd party country)
