Functional Responsibilities:
1. Plan, Monitor and Control of Raw Materials:
Daily, weekly, monthly Planning, scheduling and coordinating of Raw Materials availability
as per the production targets
Handling & coordination of raw material with Production Dept.
Procurement of Consumables.
Coordinate for any shortage of materials with Production Dept.
Coordinate for clearance of Material consignments with Import clearance dept.
Packing specifications, procurement & Management.
2. Inventory Management & logistics control
Stabilizing, Monitoring and Controlling Raw material inventory
Collect and Analyse the inventory data
Coordinate with Logistic Dept. for time delivery of finished goods.
3. Documentation
Generation of PO and Preparing of MIS Reports
Analysis the Plan V/s Actual Data
4. Supplier Relation
Conducting Supplier Audit and Supplier Selection
Price Negotiation and Cost Saving
New Vendor Development/ Search for alternate supplier
Settling the issues of in transit damages/Rejections with the Suppliers
Measure the extent of damage in terms of value and Negotiate the damage value
recoverable.
5. Person having competent & familiar with Suzuki system, E Nagare etc.
Gourika (Rationalization, Horizontal deployment) Sustain & Maintain.
Managerial Responsibilities:
1. Managing of Team
2. Training to the subordinates
3. Reviewing the performance of the team
4. Encouraging and motivating the team for timely delivery of duties
Requirements
B.E / B. Tech – Production / Mechanical / Automobiles
Minimum 8 years and Maximum 12 years of relevant experience.
Technical Skills: -
1. Experience of PPC in automobile industry well-versed familiar with material handling
operations of MSIL, experience in MSIL suppliers/ Japanese OEM
2. Well versed with ISO 9001-2008, 14001, ISO/TS 16949 standards.
Additional Job Information
1. Ready to Relocate to Vithalapur or Surrounding areas (Kadi/ Viramgam)
2. Ready to work in a Shift
3. Can work in pressure according to the quantum of work
4. Automobile experience and preferably having Suzuki business experience
5. Working in Japanese company will be an added advantage
