Position : Production Manager
Reporting to : MD or Director
Work Location : Ahmedabad
Responsibilities :
The Production Manager is responsible for new setting up phase of all plant operations related production and general supervision of all phases of plant operations including: production, quality control, maintenance, receiving, and shipping. Responsibilities also include recruiting, hiring and training personnel and facility/physical plant up-keep and capital improvements. In addition, the Production Manager will be responsible for annual budget planning and execution. They will work closely with the production team to increase productivity and profitability within the manufacturing operation.
○Prepare for setting up Plant and Production Division
○Management for Plan for Recruitment(Production Division Structure) / Safety Quality Operation Training.
〇Planning & coordination of entire production activities.
〇Monitoring & enhancing plant performance and machine maintenance.
〇Continuously monitors equipment operating conditions and works with the Maintenance
〇Change-over times, labour cost, quality, tool breakage, expenses, material loss, maintenance cost and cost reductions; develops corrective actions to assure all areas of responsibility meet budgetary/Forecasted expectations. Also, prepares all forecast/budget proposals for the above mentioned categories for monthly/six month periods and/or as requested by management.
〇Remove production constraints; allocate human and equipment resources and direct production employees to attain all established goals.
〇Remove waste and constraints from the production process to improve efficiency and enhance productivity.
〇Communicate with research and development as well as product management personnel to develop new product strategies.
〇Work with purchasing manager to develop and improve supplier relationships.
