Job Description
Role Description & Responsibilities:
➢ Demonstrated ability to have successfully completed multiple, complex transformational projects
and create high-level architecture & design of the solution, including class, sequence and
deployment infrastructure diagrams.
➢ Suggest innovative solutions based on new technologies and latest trends to sales team.
➢ Review the architectural/ technological solutions for ongoing projects and ensure right choice of
solution.
➢ Be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the various architecture artifacts, data
models and standards for various Data Integration & Data Warehousing, Big Data projects in
cloud, combined with other technologies
Requirements
Technical Competencies:
➢ Has a minimum of 15+ years of experience in data warehousing and big data architecture
solutions
➢ Experience of at least 3 years in architecting Cloud (in any cloud) + Big Data or MPP solutions at
enterprise scale with at least two end to end implementations
➢ Experienced in at least one of industry standard architecture frameworks like
TOGAF/IAF/NIST/Zachman/DODAF/FEAF
➢ Ability to articulate pros & cons of “TO-BE” design/architecture decisions across a wide spectrum
of factors
➢ Lead the design of architectural roadmaps, database, data access and data technology
architectures
➢ Provide expertise on the overall data ecosystem’s engineering best practices, standards,
architectural approaches, and complex technical resolutions
➢ Knowledge and hands-on expertise in the following technologies: Cloud Data Lakes, MPP,
RDBMS, NoSQL, Big Data technologies, distributed technologies, new age ETL/ELT tools, data
modeling for transactional as well as reporting focuses.
➢ Experience in technologies like: Apache Spark, Cloudera, Apache Kafka/Kinesis/Azure Event hub,
BI and Data warehousing, Hive, Synapse/Redshift/BigQuery, EMR/Spark pools, Databricks,
Snowflake, etc.
➢ Should have worked in agile environments and good to have exposure to
Devops/DataOps/MLOps/AIOps
➢ Architecture Certifications will be added advantage
