Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
• Lead a team of account handlers in developing & achieving Japanese business targets through providing professional and excellent customer services
• Act as an account handler for servicing, marketing & developing the existing key and important Japanese corporate clients & intermediaries
• Develop and maintain a good business relationship with Japanese clients for business renewal and explore new business opportunities, especially focus on new marine and trade business
• Assist senior management in formulating strategic planning and action plan to meet the company's goals and business targets
• Maintain and enhance customers’ satisfaction through participating in different sales and marketing activities
• Perform client/risk selection within the delegated underwriting authority, undertake cross-selling and handle claims settlement for Japanese clients
• Deliver timely quotations and quality services to customers by answering client inquiries, handling complaints, and conducting client visits
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
• Degree holder preferably in Business Administration or Insurance-related disciplines
• At least 7 years of experience in the General Insurance industry
• At least 2 years of management experience
• Experience in General Insurance underwriting is a MUST
• ACII or ANZIIF qualification(Student member ok)
• Experience in account management / marine insurance would be an advantage
• Proficient in both written & spoken English and Chinese
• Japanese ability is an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office
